Within the scope of the Türkiye Sustainable Aviation Alliance, a series of one-on-one meetings were held with sector stakeholders to contribute to the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) roadmap studies. The meetings focused on SAF production, supply chain, certification processes, operational infrastructure, logistics requirements, regulations, and Türkiye’s existing potential in this field.
In this context, topics such as the use of agricultural resources for SAF production, waste oil capacity, energy crops, compliance with international certification schemes such as ISCC and RSB, SAF integration into airport operations, Book & Claim and Mass Balance systems, infrastructure investments, and long-term supply security were discussed. These meetings contributed to strengthening cooperation among public institutions, the private sector, and all stakeholders across the aviation value chain to support the development of the SAF ecosystem in Türkiye.
