The Grand Tarabya
The launch event of the "Türkiye Sustainable Aviation Alliance", (TSAA) where Boeing Türkiye took on the role of "Founding Member", Istanbul Technical University Aerospace Research Center (ITU ARC) served as "Project Coordinator," and Turkish Airlines acted as "Lead Stakeholder," was held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at The Grand Tarabya Hotel's Panorama Hall. This event marked the official signing of TSAA’s foundation and aimed to bring together key stakeholders, share insights on sustainable aviation, and establish a platform for future collaborations.

Opening: The opening remarks included Boeing Türkiye General Manager and Country Representative Ayşem Sargın, Vice Rector Prof. Lütfiye Durak Ata, on behalf of Istanbul Technical University Rector Prof. İsmail Koyuncu, and Turkish Airlines Assistant General Manager (Investment and Technology) Levent Konukcu. Panel: The event also hosted a panel discussion titled 'Collaboration for a Sustainable Future in Aviation' with representatives from Turkish Airlines, ITU ARC, and Istanbul Grand Airport.
