As part of the Türkiye Sustainable Aviation Alliance, a one-on-one meeting was held with TFS Fuel Services Inc. to review processes related to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The meeting focused on developing the SAF roadmap and defining the role of TFS Fuel Services Inc. within the alliance.
The discussion covered SAF production strategies, regulatory considerations, and infrastructure investments. Representatives from TFS Fuel Services Inc. highlighted the potential integration of SAF in Türkiye and explored the use of Book & Claim and Mass and Balance systems at major airports, including Istanbul, Sabiha Gökçen, and Antalya.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to pursue further collaborative efforts to increase awareness of SAF’s operational and environmental benefits and to strengthen cooperation in these areas.
