As part of the Türkiye Sustainable Aviation Alliance’s efforts to advance the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) roadmap, a one-on-one meeting was held with TAV Airports to discuss sustainability strategies, SAF applications, and the importance of industry collaboration.
The discussion covered the integration of SAF into operational processes, aligning sustainability goals with airport operations, and carbon reduction strategies. TAV representatives highlighted the significance of embedding sustainability projects within their operations, showcasing a broad spectrum of initiatives across 15 airports and 6 service companies. Additional topics included supply chain sustainability within the aviation sector, specialized training programs, and environmental projects designed to meet passenger expectations.
